Rosie O'Donnell Coming To NBC

NBC is spicing up their network by re-introducing the infamous talk show host Rosie O’Donnell. Rosie O’Donnell just signed a contract with the NBC network to headline a one hour long variety television show/backdoor pilot that will air live on the eve of Thanksgiving, November 26th.

The title of the show isn’t very inventive as it is being called Rosie’s Variety Hour. The new show will start off with a topical monologue and will feature celebrity guests, comedy skits, musical acts, and of course prize giveaways for audiences in the studios and watching from their homes.

“This is a dream come true for any performer," O'Donnell said in a statement. "Old time variety, live from New York with a nod to Ed Sullivan, Carol Burnett and memories of Sonny and Cher.”

The show is just a one-time special for now - but if it becomes a hit you can expect NBC to make it a regular show in their schedule.
